It has a new home, and air in the tires. 1947 Buick hearse, body by Hercules

And it could have been yours. It sat in a field in Greece for a couple years, but this month finally was bought and is now in Italy getting a new life

You can follow along on its renovation at https://www.facebook.com/groups/816355625067800/

  1. I do hope it get a great work over and new life. Odd thing to say about a hearse as it is some we all equate to the end of life. Still, this particular hearse is something special. Jess, will you be following it progress or maybe have a web site for us to check out? Very cool stuff.

    1. I am not connected... the guy who was trying to sell it was a frequent acquaintance, and runs a website himself, but now it's out of touch... and I'll do updates if I ever learn about anything on it... but you might try Chris's site: http://sakeracers.blogspot.com/ https://plus.google.com/+ChrisSaddlerSam/posts

  3. I'm assuming that the glass has been installed recently? there is no way in H^ll that after all these years a kid and a sling shot never wrecked havoc on those windows!!!!

    1. nope. It sat in the field for a couple decades, and that was in Greece. Maybe they raise their kids better, smarter, and more civilized. Dante has been working on it for about a year, and maybe in about another year we'll see how well he completed the rebuild
